Custom handmade silk damask velvets from House Couturier- Traditional weavers create unique handmade velvets on 18th and 19th century looms in plain and jacquard silk velvets, which can be custom coloured. The velvet can be created from an archive of prints or from one of your own patterns to co-ordinate with your existing interiors.
In rich sumptuous threads of red, teal, gold and plum, these fabrics will add depth and texture to your interiors whether you feature them as fabric walling, a panel behind a bed, bedspreads or cushions.
Taffetas and Silks can also be hand woven and custom coloured in an array of patterns and colours from plain classics to pinstripe silks. Silk velvets looms are 60cms wide

To complement a stunning pair of custom made curtains and fabrics, we offer a large selection of curtain poles, tie backs, brackets and pelmets, recreating the very best of designs and finishes from over the last 400 years. Poles, pelmets and centre pieces are available using a variety of timbers including Oak, Sycamore, Mahogany and American Black Walnut and the very best of modern materials, such as perspex steel, glass and nickel. We can supply non standard and custom design including bay windows.

Twenty-one inch fabrics - damasks
Working with our partners and following extensive trialling and development the 21” loom is now fully operational and can be used to reproduce in perfect detail the narrow width fabrics most suitable for use in historic restorations. The converted loom has been re-engineered specifically for weaving 21 inch wide fabrics which replicates the hand woven width used historically for ease of reach when hand weaving.
